Friday Fill-ins 200

1. Why does the sun ALWAYS shine so brightly on the days when I have to get inside things done?.

2. One of the best things about reading is the ability of a great book to let me see the world.

3. Thank you for not being TOO critical of my random thoughts.

4. Exploring the beach is my favorite holiday because I can pretend the walking is good for me while I'm really just having a leisurely wander and exfoliating my feet at the same time!!

5. I am SO lucky to have great friends and lots of times for laughter.

6. I know in my heart that we can be everything we make up our minds to be.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to picking up Peter's cousin from the airport (if Tiger Air actually flies the plane that is...), tomorrow my plans include celebrating my Dad's 80th birthday by going out for dinner to a wild place he's found that we just HAVE to try and Sunday, I want to have a late breakfast in the sun!

Great multitasking on #4! Nothing like a leisurely walk on the beach.

  4. #2 is so true! I've been places I never could imagine visiting thanks to books. What a wise response to #6. Enjoy your weekend!

  6. Thanks for stopping by my blog.
The move went well and it was a lovely fine day. Not many soft furnishings since my sister had been renting a partly furnished room.
    I love your #2!

  7. Chat Noir,

    Some great thoughts there.

I hope that your Dad had a fantastic 80th birthday and that the restaurant lived up to the expectations.
